I spent years thinking I was broken for wanting something different every time I got to the other side of something I'd worked hard for. I kept moving the finish line, not because I was greedy or ungrateful, but because I was evolving. And nobody had told me that was allowed.
I don't believe we ever become the person we're supposed to be for the rest of our lives. I think reinvention should be considered commonplace. People don't have the same likes, the same passions, the same dreams until the day they die. And when you start something you love and later decide it's not for you anymore, that doesn't mean you failed. It means you were being truthfully honest with yourself.
I built The Reinvention Project because I needed it to exist. And because I've met too many people quietly carrying the same hunger and calling it a problem instead of a beginning.
